Plover? I Barely Know Her
This one is a weird one, even for us. The IBKH is a pet project conceived by our PCB designer, SillyWorld. We are not sure how we’ll be selling this keyboard yet, be it as a GB or regular restocks. It is an affordable, compact entry board for people wanting to get into stenography.
Stenotype
Stenotype is a typing system built on inputting sounds vs typing out words letter by letter. It is used to record everything being said in a courtroom and for live closed captioning for TV broadcasts.
Plover is free, open source stenography engine. Plover was created to replace CAT software which is a little too proprietary for modification by individual users or our community as a whole. Plover acts as a translator to convert your physical keypresses into keystrokes any computer or program can understand.
